    So, great group… but uh… what’s a zello?

    Zello is a push-to-talk app for smartphones, computers, and other devices.  It allows for voice communication over data / internet without LOS radio limitations.

    It is all the magic of the walkie talkies you remember from childhood, most of the functionality of HAM radios and long range comm networks but no tests, and no range limits.  If you are on the internet, you are in range.

    Whether you use it to keep in touch with family, or (like us) use it to create groups of like minded individuals Zello rocks.

    When you get the app installed and you get signed in click the channels tab and look for the add channel icon:

    Select the scan QR code option:

    Then point your phone at this:

    That will take you to the TSPN Zello description page where you can add the channel.

    Key up and speak to a moderator to get full trust status, then you will be able to speak to the channel. Until you talk to one of the mods there won’t be much happening.  Don’t be afraid to speak up and let us know you are a TSP listener and found my post here on grandaddysgun.com
